Marine Applications (Heavy Duty)
- Boat Trailers - rust proofing: use spray for frame and in and around electricals. Grease for axles and springs.
- Outboards - spray over powerhead to prevent corrosion and build up of salt. Grease steering pivots/cables.
- Inboard Motors - spray around motors to protect from corrosion. Gives motors fresh new look, protect electrical wiring from verdigris creep and keep wiring supple. Grease all shafts and splines.
- Winch Ropes, Anchors and Shackles should be greased for maximum protection.
- Propellers - to prevent marine growth it is best to treat with the grease. All props should be cleaned properly and heated before grease is applied to attain maximum protection. NOTE This is not an anti-foul and treatment should be applied several times a year.
- Yacht Rigging and Pulleys - spray with lanoguard and wipe off any excess.
- Fishing Gear - Spray onto cloth and wipe down all rods and reels. Chemically sharpened hooks can be sprayed with Lanoguard 3000 for extra life (pre heat first 60°C)
- Tools used in boats/marine industry should be coated for maximum protection, pre heat before applying spray/grease. Leave in sun on a hot day or place in an oven at 60-80°C for 20 minutes.
- Battery Terminals - coat to prevent corrosion.
- Prevent Electrolysis by coating dissimilar metals.

- Welding - GREASE - as a natural anti spatter in mig welding. In fabrication work spatter will not adhere.
- Lanoguard 3000 is non conductive. Spray over exposed electricals to protect cabling from corrosion and moisture.
- Aerials and Antennas - use spray to stop corrosion and electrolysis.
- Used as a rubber grease Lanoguard 3000 Grease will not damage or perish any seals or gaskets as this is not a petroleum based product.
- Farm Machinery - Corrosion protection for, fertilizer spreaders, spray equipment, stored farm machinery, etc.
- Used on metals Lanoguard 3000 not only protects from corrosion but also improves the appearance of painted and metal surfaces.
- Lanoguard 3000 as a spray lubricant outlasts other spray lubricants as it is non evaporative.
- Thread Anti Seize - soak or spray seized items.
Lanoguard 3000 Grease
This versatile multi purpose grease is primarily suitable for heavy duty lubrication. Lanoguard 3000 Grease can be used wherever petroleum grease is used with the exception of high speed bearings. Ideal for pins, bushes, splines, shafts, battery terminals, as an anti seize on nuts and bolts and can be used as rubber grease.
Lanoguard General Purpose
A spray on application this solution is an ideal corrosion preventative and lubricant. With its capillary action this product creeps into all the nooks and crannies lubricating and preventing rust wherever it goes. Lanoguard Heavy Duty
Extra strength spray on solution. This product is designed for the harshest of marine environments or protection against corrosion from fertilizers. A recognized lube for tapping threads or using on machine centres. All three products achieve maximum protection on metal surfaces if applied while the surface is warm to hot, which allows maximum penetration. Choose grease or spray to best suit your requirements. All Lanoguard products are approved for military use and are food grade approved.
