1. DIRECT CONTACT – Pirimor gives rapid knockdown of aphids only
2. STRONG FUMIGANT ACTION – Pirimor produces a vapour after application, which controls aphids missed by direct contact.
3. TRANSLAMINAR ACTIVITY – Pirimor penetrates leaves. Any aphids sheltering on the back of leaves are controlled when feeding.

INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT

Pirimor is the ideal aphicide for use in integrated pest management.
It is harmless to beneficial predators including predatory wasps,
ladybirds and lacewings and has low toxicity to bees.
Application while bees are foraging is not recommended.

MODE OF ACTION

Pirimor acts by direct contact with aphids and moves through the leaf to kill aphids feeding on the other side. It also has fumigant action especially during warm weather.

BEAT RESISTANCE

Pirimor is effective against aphids that are resistant to organophosphate's.

COMPATIBILITY

Pirimor may be mixed in the spray vat with any one of the following products: Agral® 600 Wetting Agent, Ambush® Insecticide, Omite® Miticide and Dithane® M-45 Fungicide.

 

APPLICATION

See the critical comments section of the label for details on volumes and rates. Ensure good coverage is achieved, especially when the temperature is below 15°C.

MIXING

Pre-mix Pirimor in sufficient water to make a thin cream mixture then add to the main tank while under agitation.
